Ruby was the last dog officially adopted from DHA's Rock N' Ruff Adoption Day and Pet Supply Drive on 6/2! She was a resident at Coming Home Rescue in Rockaway and was among the amazing adoptables in our parking lot looking for her forever home. The Resnick family was looking, but it was their dog Reggie who picked out his new sister. Reggie had recently lost a doggie sibling and was ready for a new pal to hang out with. I remember speaking with Michelle and Sandy at the end of the event and they told me that Reggie was looking forward to having company once again.
Well as you can see, Reggie has a new buddy and Michelle tells me they are so happy with their new addition. Ruby came home to a new bed and ruby red collar. What a lucky, deserving girl! Here are Reggie (white doggie) and his sister Ruby (brown doggie) enjoying their couch and patrolling the yard. Michelle also sent me a video of Ruby in her new yard looking so happy.....She is finally home!
