I remember seeing Faith's story on Facebook and having my heart broken. She is a female, black and white Pit Bull pup who was hit by a car and left on the side of the road with a broken leg....eventually her journey from East Orange led her to Animal Control Officer and all around AWESOME person, my friend, Sunny Nowell.  Sunny immediately took her to the Pound and arranged for her very intricate surgery in NYC where she needed to have her leg (which she had broken for days before Sunny met her) repaired and a bone graph done.

Well Faith is all better! In fact you'd never know she was ever injured aside from her missing fur which is growing in beautifully!  She is energetic, sweet, happy, friendly and soooooo AMAZING! When I met her, it was as if she'd known me forever! No lie...My best buddy! kisses, leans into me and wagging tail everytime I came back in the room. She is small..(under 40 pounds) and has an unbelievable disposition. She will make an awesome family dog. She will be featured on DHA's Rock N' Ruff next week, so get ready to see her video and fall in love!

There is a Fundraiser for Faith on 8/26 to help pay for her medical bills called "Flapjacks for Faith" at Applebees -435  rt. 46 in Rockaway. Arrive between 8a-10a .  Tickets are $10
Meal includes: Pancakes, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs & coffee, tea, juice or soda
