With all the insanity of the past two weeks, it was so nice to write this blog about one of the stations sweetest, most amazing dogs. Kim Mulligan's dog Sam. Many of us have dogs. I do, Jim does, Erin in our promo dept, Val, Casey, Mark and Amy in sales, Jason our engineer...lots of staffers. Sam is Kim's Labradoodle and this week he turns ten years old. It's a "DECADE OF SAM"! While many consider ten a senior dog, Sam is a lithe young pup! and November is adopt a senior dog month...so it's perfect.

I first met Sam two years ago at Puptoberfest. He was afraid and I comforted him...too much madness Sam thought! Dogs, music...jeeze.! I bonded with his little Muppet face and have loved him ever since. Kim won't admit it, but Sam is her baby. He's SUCH a good dog. He never barks or demands (like my dog does) and after Sandy's wrath I was very sad about my shore house. Sam was coming to work with Kim and comforted me every day. Scarlet (my dog) has bullied Sam (BIG TIME) and Sam the gentleman doodle takes it and never falters. In fact she loves Sam because he let's her bully him. He's SUCH a good dog. Scarlet bit his ear...nothing...she swatted his face...nothing...she barked to keep him away from me...nothing. He's SUCH a good dog.

So after ten years of sticking by Kim's side...we celebrate a "Decade of Sam"....One of the best dogs ever. Sweet, gentle, Sam....One of a kind.  Check out his beautiful pictures......hanging with Scarlet, as a baby, and just being Sam...
