Don’t you love the Olympics? The glory, the grandeur, the historic location, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, competition of the most epic proportions, and those divers wearing their skimpy banana hammocks. Madonne! There’s nothing like the Olympics. Let the frickin’ games begin! Never mind, they’ve begun. And with that, your humble correspondent has a few observations.
First, is anyone watching the equestrian events? Personally, I have no interest in any equestrian event, unless Mr. Ed is involved.
Secondly, imagine my horror when I heard that badminton teams are throwing matches! What about the eye of the tiger and the thrill of the fight, rising up to the challenge of your rival. This story gives me agita! Where’s my frickin’ Brioschi??? Disgratziata!!
Those are my only complaints about these London games though. What a dramatic spectacle they’ve been! And could those English people be any cuter? Tally ho. Cheers. Stay calm. Carry on. ‘Ello, governor! Mind the gap.
Madonne!! Team USA is grabbing medals left and right. Our swimmers, our gymnasts!! Michael Phelps!! Gabby Douglas!! Winners! Excellence! The best part is so many Olympians are from New Jersey. There are four Jersey girls on the U.S. women’s soccer team: Christie Rampone from Point Pleasant, Heather O’Reilly from East Brunswick, Carli Lloyd from Delran, and Tobin Heath from Basking Ridge. Bring home the gold, ragazze belle!! Brava!!
The only thing that could make the Olympics better is if Steven Tyler was a judge. The Screamin’ frickin’ Demon! Is he hot or what?? He’s a sexy little freak! And so are the Olympians!! USA! USA! USA!!
