C.J. Nitkowski played his high school baseball in Bergen County, went to St. John's and then enjoyed a lengthy MLB career that included pitching for both the Mets and Yankees. He plays the role of Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Dutch Leonard in the new movie "42" about Jackie Robinson. C.J. spoke with Jim about the making of the movie, re-creating Ebbets Field, and yes, those old wool uniforms were VERY uncomfortable.

Jayson Hernandez grew up at the NJ Shore, attending St. Rose High School in Belmar. After attending Rutgers University in New Brunswick, he was drafted in 2010 by the Boston Red Sox and played at the AA level in 2012. After seeing the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, Jayson and a few of his Red Sox minor league colleagues also from New Jersey organized "Grand Slam For Sandy." Jim and Jayson talk about the fundraiser, how you can help, and what it means to be "Jersey Strong."
