Randy Jackson is an American rock musician from New Orleans, Louisiana, best known for his role as frontman for the band Zebra. Jackson founded Zebra with bass player Felix Hanemann and drummer Guy Gelso in 1975.
Best known as the singer/songwriter/guitarist of the Philadelphia-based Blues-Rock band Cinderella, TOM KEIFER is making his debut as a solo artist with the release of his long-awaited and highly-anticipated solo album, THE WAY LIFE GOES, April 30 via Merovee Records (through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group).

The collection of 14 new songs ranges from intimate, organic, acoustic tracks to driving hard rock. It embraces the Blues, Rock and Country roots that have always been present in his unique sound that has generated the sale of over 15 million records worldwide for Cinderella. Rolling Stone praised KEIFER as "a gritty, bluesy (rocker) with enough genuine swagger to draw comparisons to Mick Jagger."

"The Flower Song," the album's first single, will be serviced to AAA radio stations nationwide on February 4, while "Solid Ground" will be serviced to all Rock formats on March 11.

The album is a raw, introspective look at the roller coaster ride that has been KEIFER's life for the past 15 years. From being told that he would never sing again as a result of a partially paralyzed left vocal cord, to the emotional and personal battles that followed, his solo debut is a story of perseverance, a testament to the power of passion and will, when combined with a true love of music.

In touring news, KEIFER will launch his first-ever solo tour on February 9 in Winston-Salem, NC at Ziggy's. The 14-city trek of small, intimate rooms is an up-close and personal preview of songs from THE WAY LIFE GOES along with some Cinderella classics. Dates beyond February 28 are currently in the works.

TOM KEIFER recently spoke with HuffingtonPost.com about THE WAY LIFE GOES. "The idea for a solo record started in the nineties when the band parted ways and we left Universal," he said. "There was just a changing of the guard in the industry at that time and I started thinking about a solo record. I wrote for it for many years and the songs just kept going on the pile and I never got around to actually making a record...We started cutting tracks for this record in 2003 and I went to the pile of songs that had been building up and picked some that I liked and I've just been working on it ever since. It was produced independently of a label, because the idea from the beginning was to just work and record until I was happy with it. I wrote with a lot of different people--my wife, Savannah, who's a great writer, co-wrote a lot of the songs on the record and also co-produced the record with me, and a good friend of ours, Chuck Turner who's a great engineer and producer. So from the beginning, the attitude was, 'Let's have fun and just make a great record and it'll be done when it's done.' Little did we know it'd be nine years later…it's done and we went through some crazy stuff and mixed and remixed and reworked things over and over and probably made a lot of mistakes along the way, but finally got it where we were all happy with it, so here it is."

TRIXTER Live In Studio D

"When I was 14, I saw B.B. King at a show in a giant barn in a part of town I wasn't supposed to be in. I was the only young person there. He was amazing. Women were screaming, and he was playing his ass off. I had to shake his hand afterwards. That moment changed my life."

Don Felder is renowned as the former lead guitarist of The Eagles, one of the most popular and influential rock groups of our time. The band's record-setting compilation Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) sold over 29 million copies in the U.S. alone and was awarded by the RIAA the top-selling album of the 20th Century. A member of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1998, Felder served as a key member of The Eagles for 27 years, putting his mark on numerous Eagles milestones. Felder originated and co-wrote The Eagles' biggest hit - the iconic, Grammy-studded smash "Hotel California" - along with fan favorites like "Victim of Love" and "Those Shoes." He became immediately celebrated for his lyrical, signature guitar work on legendary songs like "Life in the Fast Lane," "One of These Nights," "New Kid In Town," and numerous more.

After leaving that group in 2001, Felder also became a New York Times bestselling author when his riveting confessional memoir Heaven and Hell: My Life in The Eagles proved a major commercial triumph upon publication in 2008.

Growing up in the Gainesville, FL local music scene, Don Felder would incongruously encounter a number of the greatest talents that would go on to change rock and roll history. In high school, he formed a band with a young Stephen Stills; Felder also gave guitar lessons to a teenaged Tom Petty at the local music store, and The Allman Brothers were also local pals. "Duane Allman was first person I ever saw play electric-slide guitar," Felder recalls. "I said, ‘You've got to show me how to do that,' so we sat on his mother's floor in Daytona Beach and Duane taught me how to play slide." Florida is also where a young Felder would first meet Bernie Leadon, a founding member of The Eagles who would be instrumental in bringing his childhood friend into the band. In fact, it was Leadon who encouraged him to come out to Los Angeles, where Felder found himself working both with The Eagles and in both sessions and live performances for numerous music legends spanning the musical spectrum: The Bee Gees, Bob Seger, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Kenny Loggins, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Boz Scaggs, Warren Zevon, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Vince Gill, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Paul Simon, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand - and even and old friend, Steven Stills. "On some level, Bernie is really responsible for all this craziness," Felder laughs.

Putting all the tumult and glory he'd experienced to that point into perspective gave new urgency to the creation of Road to Forever - only Felder's second solo effort in a storied, four-decade-plus sojourn through rock history. Road to Forever represents the culmination of a personal journey of introspection that Felder began over ten years ago. In 2001, he suffered an emotionally-devastating double blow - separating acrimoniously from The Eagles for the last time while facing the end of his first marriage, which had lasted 29 years and produced four children. "Every identity I'd been attached to - musician, husband, and father - was being taken away," he says. To heal, Felder began writing down as many memories as he could, putting his past in perspective. Finding these musings compelling, Felder was inspired to write a book, and connected with legendary Hollywood deal-maker Michael Ovitz to set it up. "Two weeks later, I went to New York with a three-page synopsis, and received four offers from publishers," Felder says. "Now I was forced to reflect on my life." That introspection inspired him to "write out the stories of my life as songs. After I collected myself, I found I needed to go out and play music again, and that's how I began recording the upcoming album

"Who would ever thought that a guitar player from Gainesville would go on to be in The Eagles, and then become a best-selling author?" Felder continues. I had to figure all that out for myself, and I'm glad that I did. In the process of making the upcoming album, I found out who I really am - I had to find out what happened when I almost lost it all."

Jim Breuer Live In Studio D

With over 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Jim Breuer remains one of today’s top entertainers and continues to win over audiences with his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality. Named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Breuer is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business, known for his charismatic stage antics, dead-on impressions, and family-friendly stand-up.

Even as a young student at Valley Stream Central High School in Long Island, NY, Breuer knew he wanted to be a stand-up comedian. After spending several years working comedy clubs across the country, Breuer settled in as a regular on the New York comedy club circuit. After being in New York for only seven months, Breuer landed a gig on the nationally syndicated show,”Uptown Comedy Club,” where he spent two seasons. Later he appeared on ABC’s “Home Improvement” starring funny man Tim Allen, before making his big break which came in 1995 when he joined the cast of NBC’s legendary “Saturday Night Live.” During his four years on “SNL,” Breuer quickly became a fan-favorite for his original character “Goat Boy” and his dead-on impressions of actor Joe Pesci.

Following his success on “SNL,” Breuer starred alongside Dave Chappelle in the cult favorite film “Half Baked.” He has since appeared in the popular films “Zookeeper,” “Dick,” “Titan A.E.” and “Beer League.” On the small screen, Breuer hosted MTV’s popular “Beach House” and VH1’s “Web Junk 20.” His other television appearances include “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and “The Marriage Ref.”

In 2008, Breuer set out for his “Breuniversity Tour” with his 85-year-old father and a film crew. The footage that was captured blended together to create “The Jim Breuer Road Journals,” which showcased what life is like on the road with a comedian and his father. Videos from that tour also sparked the making of his documentary “More Than Me,” which was shown at the 2009 Montreal Film Festival. In July of 2009, Breuer’s one-hour Comedy Central special “Let’s Clear the Air” premiered with hilarious topics that included what “success” really is, his SNL days and life with his elderly parents, his wife and his three daughters. In 2011, Breuer embarked on a national tour with three of the country’s top comedians, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, and Jim Norton, for “The Anti-Social Network” tour. That same year, Breuer’s acclaimed autobiography, “I’m Not High: (But I’ve Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior),” was released on paperback. In the memoir, Breuer sheds light on his early struggles, his rise to fame and the many lessons he’s learned along in an extremely funny, yet personal and touching way that fans have never seen before. A pioneer in the “heavy-metal comedy” revolution, Breuer just wrapped his heavy metal comedy tour with Metallica’s Orion Festival and Germany’s Wacken Festival. Most recently, Breuer filmed his latest one hour comedy special “Mid Life Madness” at the historical Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, NY.

Throughout the years, Breuer has supported various charities through his comedy, including the Chris Farley Foundation,MusiCares, his local police and fire departments and more. Breuer currently resides in New Jersey where he enjoys spending time with his family, playing pick-up games of baseball, softball and wiffle ball and watching the NY Mets.

Mark Tremonti Live In Studio D

Mark Tremonti is a Grammy-winning musician best known for his work as lead guitarist and songwriter for the rock bands Creed and Alter Bridge. Since his career took off in the late 90s, his playing has been featured on several multi-platinum records, he has helped design his own signature line of musical equipment through multiple companies, and he has released a guitar instructional DVD entitled “Mark Tremonti: The Sound and The Story.”

Born on April 14, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan, Tremonti’s initial interest in guitar came from his older brothers’ influence of listening to bands like KISS, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. He received his first guitar, a cheap Les Paul copy, when he was eleven years old, and he signed up for lessons soon afterwards. On his very first day, the instructor showed him a nursery tune, and Tremonti said he wanted to learn to play Metallica songs. When the instructor said he was not ready for that yet, Tremonti decided right then that he would learn what he wanted on his own.

By the time he was fifteen, his family had moved to Orlando, Florida, where he met future band mate Scott Stapp. He continued to work on his musical skills throughout high school. While attending college at Clemson University in South Carolina he discovered a music store that lended out instructional videos for free. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Tremonti used to take home some videos and would learn as much and as often as he could. After his first year of college, he moved back to Florida, attending Florida State University, where he was re-united with Stapp, and in 1995, Creed was formed.

Until their initial breakup in 2003, Creed released three albums with sales totaling over 30 million worldwide. They also had numerous hit singles, three Grammy nominations, and they also won the Grammy for Best Rock Song in 2001. In early 2004, Tremonti formed the band Alter Bridge with his band mates from Creed (minus Stapp), and they recruited Myles Kennedy for vocals. Alter Bridge has released three albums to date, and since Creed’s reunion, the two bands have coordinated alternating tour schedules.

Tremonti uses his signature Paul Reed Smith (PRS) model guitars, with both tremolo and fixed bridges. PRS also makes Tremonti signature pickups, which come stocked with the Mark Tremonti Model guitar. In other musical equipment, Tremonti has his own signature wah pedal through Morley and a signature phaser pedal through T-Rex. As for amplification, Tremonti uses a mix of Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifiers and the Uberschall and Shiva models made by Bogner for his distortion settings. For his clean sound, he uses Fender Twin ’65 Re-Issues, along with the G-Force effects processor by TC Electronics. He also uses Taylor acoustic guitars, D’addario strings, Planet Waves cables, and Dunlop Jazz III picks.

Tremonti’s discipline on the guitar is quite impressive, including a daily practice regimen of around eight hours. He has stated that after receiving such an honor as receiving a PRS signature model guitar, he knew that it was time to step up his game and prove that he truly deserved it. On “Mark Tremonti: The Sound and The Story,” Paul Smith, the founder of PRS guitars, said that one of their most extensive fret jobs ever came from one of Tremonti’s guitars. After years of constant playing and countless hours of practice. Tremonti has also received Guitar World’s Guitarist of the Year award three consecutive times and has been voted by readers of Total Guitar magazine as the fourth greatest metal guitarist ever. While balancing time between his two bands, he has stated that a solo project is in the works and that he will be doing lead vocal duties as well.

Half Price Deals

Enjoy The Half Price Deals From WDHA
