Meet this week's Stray Cat Strutter! From one of my favorite places....The Randolph Animal Pound. Chloe came to to Randolph Animal pound ready to give birth so she went directly to a foster home. She had 3 beautiful babies who have all found homes of their own and now Chloe needs to find a home too. Chloe is Queen of the castle. She can be friendly but also at times has 'cattitude' so small children may not be the best for her. Chloe is a beautiful young cat with a big personality. She really enjoys lounging around and is always ready for a photo! She is just so gorgeous and will even pose for you! Come meet one of the favorites at The Randolph Pound! I have told you so many times how much I LOVE our great friends from The Rockaway Animal Hospital! Not only do they provide amazing care with Dr. Maniar (who everyone loves) and his brilliant wife Dr. Gannon, but they also have kennel space right at the Hospital for animals waiting for forever homes. That is something special! Office Manager Donna is very passionate about their "fosters", so please meet Sophie the sweet cat. Sophies owners moved and decided to leave her behind in the basement. The painters (for the homes new owners) found this sweet doll behind the water heater! Sophie is affectionate, loving and would make a GREAT lap cat. I love our friends at the Rockaway Animal Hospital. They are so caring and loving with every animal and open up their office to homeless animals all the time. Residing there now is Hope.

Hope arrived with her brother and sister at about 1 ½ weeks old with no Mom to take care of them. They were left in a playset in a park to fend for themselves. They were weak and sick when they arrived but Hope and her brother Zazzles battled back and pulled through. The folks at the clinic bottle fed them and they grew up strong and adorable. This little girl is a lover and a fighter! A lover of all and a fighter for life and a great home! I am sure there is someone out there who needs this little kitten as much as she needs them. She is perfect! Adopt Hope!

Meet Colt! A handsome fellow whose story will melt your heart

I featured Colt in the Rock N' Ruff blog, because his story blew my mind. Poor baby had been shot when he made his way to the awesome staff at The Rockaway Animal Hospital. Colt is doing great. However he still has unremovable bullets, but don't think that his spirit is dampered. He is doing great, loves people and is super friendly and very playful. He loves greeting visitors as they stop in.....so do!

My friends at The Randolph Animal Pound are so awesome in the work they do and with June being "Adopt a Shelter Cat" month, I wanted to feature one of the many, many cats they have available for adoption.....

Miss Kitty is a young adult cat with a BIG personality! She was abandoned by her owner and is looking for a stable, loving home to call her own. She longs to make that special life long friend that will show her what a special cat she is...

She rolls over and smiles when she meets you....and she is gorgeous!

Meet Rattle! (what a sweet, beauty she is...I met her and trust me...she is!)

I first met Rattle when Donna Brunner who works at the Rockaway Animal Hospital took me on a tour of the facilities and I fell in love with this sweet, sociable girl! She had such an awesome personalit, trying to get my attention and coming to the front of her cage for a head scratch. She was awesome. The Rockaway Animal Clinic has small kennel space in addition to being great, caring vets and I was honored when Dr. Maniar and Donna took me through to see the hospital. They are so caring with their homeless animals and have many success stories and I love to include their dogs and cats on the Rock N' Ruff pageThey have some lovely cats and kittens looking for homes including Miss Rattle. I received an email from Donna at the Rockaway Animal Hospital about Cinnamon and Nutmeg!

They are 2 sweet cats that are 9 month old brothers and are currently residing at the Hospital and Donna is trying to help them find a home. They are neutered, fully vetted and just looking for someone to love them. They love to be petted, play and have beautiful soft coats. Meet Leo. A fabulous cat! He is an adult Orange and White male tabby, who was forced to live outside for at least a month until the fab folks at The Randolph Animal Pound came along. Leo is super friendly and has made himself quite at home at the Pound. Here he is lounging in the cat room. He is very healthy, has a beautiful soft, silky coat, and is very sweet. He is great with other kitties, up to date on all shots and neutered. All he needs is someone to love. Gidget is a gorgeous Snowshoe/Siamese/Calico blend with stunning blue eyes. She is sweet and affectionate with all humans but prefers to be the only kitty in the house. She is tiny, young and very affectionate...In fact, Deb, one of the Mt. Pleasant volunteers told me Gidget is her favorite at the shelter. Gidget currently resides at the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter -2012 Rt. 10 West in East Hanover. and is staying at the PETSMART which is located right in front of the shelter.
