Canadian rockers Three Days Grace have less than two weeks left on their initial tour to launch their newly released fourth album, "Transit Of Venus," but we'll be seeing plenty more of the band in the not too distant future.
In fact, drummer Neil Sanderson says even bigger things are on the horizon:
"We've have in the works right now -- nothing has been confirmed yet -- but a big arena tour we're just kind of putting together that's going to start, I think, in mid-January and it's going to take us across Canada. We always love to tour Canada in the dead of winter because our Canadian fans get cabin fever, so you get them into a rock show and they go crazy.”
“So we're going to go across Canada first and then embark on a major U.S. tour early next year, and then I think that will take us right into the summer festival season and we'll hit all of the festivals and then keep pounding it out. What hasn't changed is that playing live and getting up in front of a huge crowd of people and killing it every night is where the passion still lies."
Three Days Grace wraps up its current tour on October 28 in Nashville.
"Transit Of Venus" debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and at No. 4 in Canada.
The single "Chalk Outline" topped Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart and also hit No. 1 on the Canadian Rock/Alternative chart.
