Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose crossed a major milestone last night when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
No, we’re not talking about the fact that he did his first live interview in over two decades. We’re talking about the fact that he was actually on time for it!
The generally tardy rocker sat down with Kimmel to discuss GNR’s upcoming 12-date residency at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, assuring fans that the shows would indeed, start on time.
Rose also answered some fan questions from Twitter, talked about his love of Halloween, and gave his endorsement to President Barack Obama in the upcoming election, though he admitted he “doesn’t really vote”.
The singer wrapped up his 12-minute interview by sending a lucky audience member home with a pair of tickets to one of GNR’s Vegas shows, and then promptly inviting the entire to enjoy a burger with him via the food truck he apparently brought along to the studio.
All-in-all, it’s good to have a little more Axl in our lives again!
Guns N’ Roses Hard Rock residency, dubbed “Appetite for Democracy”, begins on October 31st and runs through November 24th.
