The band announced today (October 29th) via official press release that their latest studio album Confessions is set to drop in early 2013 via Century Media in the U.S. and Eleven Seven Music worldwide.
Frontman Josh Todd said of the new record, "The time has come to finally announce the release of our sixth LP, Confessions. This is our coolest album yet and I think a lot of people will relate, if you love BC you are going to get a chance to be part of a great story - join the revolution and let's rock!"
Guitarist Keith Nelson added that the band is very proud of their efforts on the album, calling it their “most ambitious record” to date.
Confessions is a concept album that focuses on the seven deadly sins, and is based off of the life experiences of Josh Todd.
The singer also plans to use the album’s material as a part of an even bigger project that will include a feature film.
Buckcherry is currently on tour, with dates scheduled in both the U.S. and the U.K. in the coming weeks.
