Happy 61st birthday going out to Paul Stanley of KISS! On his special day let’s wish this “Star Child” a birthday that’s rockin’ and rollin' all night!

Known for their wild costumes and makeup, KISS has been rocking crowds for over four decades. Formed in 1973, the band was originally comprised of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. Stanley, easily recognizable by his “Star Child” makeup, wrote many of the group's best songs, and is the only remaining original member of KISS along with Simmons.

As much of a singer, songwriter and guitarist, the rocker is also skilled with a paint brush and canvas; Stanley's artwork can be found on display on his official website.

Let’s hope that his birthday cake is a copious with frosting so he can “Lick it Up” and have a spectacular day!
