Did Mardi Gras come early? With skeleton face makeup, crazy contact lenses, darker than night costumes and a guitar, Wes Borland has always been a sight to behold in the rap-rock group, Limp Bizkit.
Wes, who turns 37 today, joined Limp Bizkit in 1994 to round out the quartet. Catching the attention of fellow rock band Korn, Limp Bizkit toured with the House of Pain and the Deftones before signing with Flip/Interscope Records.
Although Borland would eventually leave Limp Bizkit in 2001, just to come back, and then leave again, we have a feeling he will always be attached to Bizkit's projects in one way or another. The guitarist is also an accomplished artist and has various other side band projects including the bands Big Dumb Face and Black Light Burns.
With his oddity and his guitar playing, Borland added a flavor to Limp Bizkit that is as interesting as their music. On that note, Happy Birthday Wes Borland!
