If the winter weather has you down, fear not, because a Rock and Roll legend is on the way to carry you into the spring!

Scott Weiland is launching a North American solo tour that is set to kick off next month. From March 1^st to March 27^th, the singer will travel to the Midwest, East Coast and South, hitting a tentative total of 15 cities.

The tour title ‘Purple at the Core,’ is a reference to his Stone Temple Pilots days, paying homage to the band’s albums ‘Core’ and ‘Purple.’  According to AlternativeAddiction.com, the plan is for Weiland to perform one song from each of the albums, as well as his solo material, and even tracks from his time with supergroup, Velvet Revolver.

This will mark the first time Weiland will hit the road as a solo act, and has the potential to be a can’t-miss event!
