KISS guitarist Paul Stanley announced earlier this week to VH1 Radio Network (via Blabbermouth) that the band was ditching their old stage show, and he wasn’t kidding around.
Bassist Gene “The Demon” Simmons confirmed Stanley's statement yesterday during a Q&A session with fans in Indiana (below), and even revealed that the show will feature a giant animatronic spider, which will be able to walk on stage and shoot fireballs from its tentacles.
The new stage show will be unveiled on June 1, when KISS launches their European tour. The group will then hit the States for a series of concerts in August.
Simmons also teased that the band will levitate over the crowd during the show, using a new see-through tether that will allow the shock rockers to fly through the air without fans being able to see the strings. There will also be a 70-foot screen, tons of amps and more!
What do you think KISS fans? Are you excited for the band’s new stage show or will you miss the old one?
