Horror buffs need not be skeptical of Black Sabbath’s Halloween Horror Nights attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. Judging from the five-minute walk-through video that was captured at the maze’s opening night last Friday, “Black Sabbath: 13 3D” is the real deal!
Based on scenes inspired by the music of Sabbath’s latest album, 13, the maze also draws elements from the lyrics of the metal-band’s most iconic songs, including “Iron Man,” “Paranoid,” Electric Funeral,” “War Pigs” and “Black Sabbath.”
According to the ‘13 3D’ official press release, attraction goers will face the challenge of going toe-to-toe with Lucifer and his bride, as they encounter “horrifying graveyards, disturbing madhouses and bone-chilling battlefields” along the way.
The video walk-through, courtesy of SoCalThemeParks 368, shows off some of the maze’s most terrifying elements, with plenty of screams echoing in the background and Ozzy Osbourne’s haunting vocals blasting throughout the glowing halls.
“Black Sabbath: 13 3D” runs from now through Halloween at Universal Studios Hollywood in California. The band is also gearing up for a Latin American tour with Megadeth, which kicks off on October 4 in Santiago, Chile.
Check out the walk-through teaser of Black Sabbath’s scary Halloween attraction below, and head to the band’s official website for more info!
