AC/DC is reportedly working on a follow-up to 2008's "Black Ice," but the group's fans may get a little something to tide them over this summer. "Tales of Old Grand-Daddy," the 1973 album by the Marcus Hook Roll Band, is due for re-release on June 2. Marcus who?, you ask. That was an Australian group formed by George Young -- older brother of AC/DC guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young -- and his Easybeats' partner Harry Vanda. "Tales of Old Grand-Daddy" features the first recordings by Angus and Malcolm, and their older brother told Britain's Classic Rock magazine that, "We didn't take (the project) very seriously so we thought we'd include them to give them an idea of what recording was all about...It was the first thing Malcolm and Angus did before AC/DC..We all got rotten -- except Angus, who was too young -- and we spent a month in the studio boozing it up every night." Marcus Hook was not long-lived, however, and the younger Young brothers formed AC/DC later in 1973, with their brother and Vanda producing the group's early albums.
