Kings of Leon's summer North American tour has been rocked by a bus accident late Saturday (August 9) that injured drummer Nathan Followill and forced the group to postpone its Sunday (August 10) show in Saratoga, N.Y. According to a posting on the group's Facebook page, "The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short...Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well." On Sunday afternoon Followill posted a tweet, "Thank you for all of the get well soons. I'm a little banged up but will be back better than ever." His brother and bandmate Jared Followill also tweeted a message that "This was the most fun tour for awhile. We'll be back ASAP. #GetWellNate." Kings of Leon are next scheduled to play Wednesday (August 13) in Wantagh, N.Y. There's no word yet on whether more shows will be postponed, though it's likely if Followill's ribs are truly broken.
