Every rose has its thorns, and Poison frontman Bret Michaels wants show fans all of his.
According to an interview with Cindy Pearlman with the New York Times Syndicate, Michaels has set his sights on filming a movie about his life, detailing moments from his childhood in Pittsburgh to his time as the lead singer of Poison—and all the thorns in between.
In respects to the biopic, Michaels told Pearlman, “I want to tell the story…I want to give people a Bret Michaels movie where they see that my life is a comedy of errors.”
“I also want to show my fans how to get through the kind of troubles that would leave most people flat on the floor.”
That’s a lot of wisdom coming from a guy who went on VH1—twice!—to find “love”.
Michaels, who turns 50 this year, is touring with Poison and has planned a solo tour to promote his newest album, Get Your Rock On.
But perhaps going from rock star to movie star will help Bret's love life; the singer just recently called off his engagement with longtime girlfriend, Kristi Gibson.
