Shout out to Joe Elliott, who turns 53 today!

As a young kid, he dreamed of forming his own band and calling it Deaf Leppard…and his dreams came true when he met the other members of Atomic Mass, a heavy metal band from England.

Dropping the ‘a’, the band changed their name to Def Leppard and soon became of one the greatest heavy metal bands in history.

As the lead singer and frontman, Elliott is also credited with writing iconic songs such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Animal”, without which, bar life would be quite boring.

Elliott began working on a side project in 2009 called Down N’ Outz, and he continues to rock out with his Def Leppard crew year after year.
