Bill Ward Expresses Interest in Rejoining Black Sabbath
By: Mike Bober
10/3/2012

Despite a year's worth a contractual disputes and disagreements, it looks like original Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward is claiming he would like to rejoin his old bandmates.

The group made an appearance last November, fully reunited, to announce their first album with Ozzy since 1979 and a 2012 world tour.

Not long after, Ward removed himself from the group’s reunion shows and recordings, citing an unsatisfactory contract for the reason behind his refusal to participate.

But in a recent appearance on the first of a six part online TV show hosted by Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jess Hughes, Ward opened up about the situation.

“I’ll always play – that’s my life. If there’s some longevity with Black Sabbath, then I’d like to be a part of it. I love playing with Terry, Oz and Tony. When Tony opens up with huge chords I still get the same shiver up my back that I got when we were 18-year-old kids. It ain’t gone away; it’s still there.”

Black Sabbath is currently in the studio working on their 19th studio album, which remains untitled, with Osbourne’s solo band drummer Tommy Clufetos curently in Ward's place.

The album is expected out sometime in 2013.
