From Vegas to India is quite the change of scenery, but that is the path that Guns N’ Roses have decided to take.
Fresh off of their residency at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the group is set to perform four shows in India, on December 7th, 9th, 12th and 15th, according to their official website.
GNR frontman Axl Rose recently talked with The Times of India about his expectations and thoughts on the trip.
“I've always wanted to play in India. We've tried to make that happen but for whatever reasons it just didn't work out. We're all looking forward to coming there and performing for everyone,” he explains.
Rose went on to say that if he can find the time in between shows, he would like to do some sight-seeing. When asked about possible collaborations between GNR and local Indian artists, he added, "I think there's always the possibility of collaborations anywhere with nearly anyone."
We’re not sure about you, but GNR heading to India after a stay in Vegas seems like the formula for a one-of-a-kind show, and if they collaborate with some Indian musicians, things could get interesting.
