There are ‘No Excuses’ for an Alice In Chains fan to feel ‘Down in a Hole.’
The band has just released their first track and video from their upcoming album and “Hollow” has already hit the Top Ten on the iTunes Rock Chart; the album is set for a spring 2013 release.
Coming off of the successful 2009 release ‘Black Gives Way to Blue,’ Alice in Chains has ‘No Excuses’ to have anything but a memorable 2013.
The band has announced a North American tour set to kick off April 25th in Miami Beach. The tour spans a month, wrapping up in Pryor, Oklahoma on May 25th. That gives you a month to find a venue to check out the band! The band isn’t headed to New York or LA; instead, they are sticking to the heart of the country, from Florida to Ft. Wayne.
Vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell believes strongly in the new album and hopes fans will rock out to the new tracks, stating in a recent interview with Guitar World, “Hopefully, the new album will connect with people.”
If you’re an Alice In Chains fan, sit back and enjoy a year full of treats. Whether you were naughty or nice in 2012, you’re set for a long list of goods from the band in 2013.
