Van Halen Tour Could Resume Soon
By: Annie Scaramuzzino
1/14/2013

During the time that Van Halen has been on hiatus, frontman/scissor kick extraordinaire David Lee Roth has been keeping fans appeased through his video series, The Roth Show, and via his social media accounts.

Normally, Roth uses these platforms to give updates on his latest adventures with his sidekick, Rusty the Sheepdog. But last week, DLR may have provided fans with a little more info than how to dance like a rock star.

On January 10th (Thursday), the singer posted a photo on both Facebook and Twitter that showed him stretching out his legs with Rusty by his side, and the caption, “Start spreadin’ the…”

The teaser could lead fans to believe that the band is gearing up to resume their A Different Kind of Truth tour, which was put on hold back in the summer following guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s Diverticulitis issues.

So far, Van Halen only has three Japanese concerts scheduled for June, which were postponed from November. Still, with nearly a full leg of cancelled North American shows to fulfill, more are expected to pop up soon.
