The Rolling Stones may not be making the scene, but the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has still managed to put together a formidable lineup -- including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, Blur and the Stone Roses -- for its 2013 edition, which takes place April 12-14 and 19-21 and the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif.
The reunited British bands Blur and the Stone Roses will play on each of the Friday nights, joined by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Trent Reznor's How To Destroy Angels, Jurassic 5, British sensation Alt-J and Nick Cave's Grinderman. Phoenix will top Saturday's bill, which will also included the reunited Postal Service, Grizzly Bear, the Lumineers, Hot Chip, the xx, Sigur Ros and rappers 2 Chainz, Danny Brown, El-P and Pusha T.
The Chili Peppers, meanwhile, will follow its 2012 appearances at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza by closing Coachella each of the Sunday nights, topping a bill that includes Vampire Weekend, Social Distortion and the Wu-Tang Clan, while Cave will return with his other band, the Bad Seeds. Coachella will also host a variety of electronic artists such as Bassnectar, Eric Prydz and Paul Oakenfold.
Coachella tickets, starting at $349, go on sale at 1 p.m. EST on January 29.
