A new photo has just surfaced of rocking father-son duo Eddie Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen, along with Valerie Bertinelli, backstage at Wolfgang’s last show with Tremonti – the side project of Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti – at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The youngest Van Halen joined the band on tour last fall to fill in for bassist Brian Marshall and has been rocking with the guys ever since.
After the show, Wolfgang tweeted: “Super bummed this run with @MarkTremonti @IIEROCKII and @GWDrums is over! Last show at the Roxy couldn’t have been better! See ya next time!”
The man himself, Eddie Van Halen, has also just posted a photo to his official Facebook page of him hard at work in the recording studio. The photo came with no caption or message from the rocker but it has caused quite a stir from fans eager for new VH music.
No official news so far from the band about new music being recorded or released, but Van Halen is set to revive their “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour this summer with Wolfgang, who’s been in the lineup since their 2007 reunion. The band will play dates in Japan, Australia, and the US.
