Mick Mars celebrated his 62nd birthday over the weekend, but outside of the normal celebrations, the Motley Crue guitarist got quite the unwelcomed surprise.
During a concert in Saskatchewan, a fan jumped onto the stage as the band played the final notes of their song “Primal Scream,” knocking Mars to the ground and then grabbing hold of lead singer Vince Neil, the Moose Jaw Times Herald reports.
Drummer Tommy Lee then scolded the audience member with a few choice words as security escorted him from the stage.
After the ordeal, Motley Crue took a break from their set and headed backstage, but later returned to finish the show.
The band is currently in the midst of a Canadian tour, with their next concert set for Brandon, Manitoba tonight (May 6). Hopefully they are able to finish out the remainder of their shows without incident.
